Tom Cruise in New Orleans for ‘Jack Reacher: Never Go Back’ red-carpet premiere

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - The stars came out tonight for the big premiere of "Jack Reacher: Never Go Back" starring mega-movie star Tom Cruise.  The movie was filmed in New Orleans, so they held it's premiere at AMC Elmwood Sunday evening.


Jack Reacher - Tom Cruise returns with his particular brand of justice in the highly anticipated action-packed sequel.  The film follows Reacher as he races to uncover the truth about active duty soldiers, once under his command, who are being killed.  The flick is based upon a book by Lee Child, his 18th novel in the best-selling Jack Reacher series.  The books have sold over 100 million copies world-wide.  The film also stars Cobie Smulders from the hit TV show, "How I met your Mother," and Aldis Hodge, Danika Yarosh, Patrick Heusinger, Holt McCallan and Robert Knepper.

"Jack Reacher: Never Go Back" opens in theaters on Friday, October 21.
