NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - The axiom must win is used way too often in the NFL, but it may apply Sunday.

The Saints, 1-3, host the Panthers, 1-4.

The loser falls to the bottom of the NFC South and puts its playoff hopes in even further jeopardy. Here's Saints quarterback Drew Brees and his take on the game.

Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was limited in practice, but is expected to play after missing Monday night's loss to Tampa Bay with a concussion.

Among five Saints not practicing were left tackle Terron Armstead (knee), and linebacker Dannell Ellerbe (quad).

The Saints have lost three straight to Carolina, and four of the last five.
