Body found in Audubon Park Lagoon

New Orleans, La. -(WGNO)- The NOPD is investigating how a body wound up in a lagoon on the east side of Audubon Park.

According to investigators, the body of  was discovered around 9 a.m. in the lagoon near Perrier  and Exposition Streets.

New Orleans Firefighters were able to pull the body from the lagoon

NOPD Detectives are currently processing the scene.

They are currently treating this as an unclassified death.
