Suspect wanted for armed robbery on Chef Menteur Hwy

NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD needs the public’s help in locating and identifying a suspect responsible for an armed robbery in the 9200 block of Chef Menteur Highway.

Thursday around 11:52 a.m., an unknown black man with a thick beard was seen on surveillance video entering the Shell gas station in the area. The suspect was then seen lifting up his shirt, pointing a handgun at the cashier and demanding the cashier place the cash in a bag. The suspect was seen running in an unknown direction.
