NOPD: Gunmen use blue police lights to carjack man near UNO

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – A man was carjacked early this morning after he was pulled over by two gunmen who used blue police lights on their vehicle.

According to NOPD, the victim was driving in the 2300 block of Leon C. Simon Drive near the University of New Orleans about 1:20 a.m. when blue lights were activated on a blue Dodge Charger.

When the victim pulled over, two men approached him and pointed guns at him. They dragged the victim from his car and stole his 2010 silver Acura with the license plate number ZFX767.

Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to call NOPD or Crimestoppers.
