NEW ORLEANS, LA (WGNO) -- New Orleans police are looking for two men who are accused of kidnapping a man and forcing him to drive his own car during a series of crimes. The case is the latest to roll in on the Wheel of Justice.
It started Friday, September 2, near the corner of Chef Menteur Highway and America Street.
Police say a man was sitting in his car when two men jumped inside it. At least one of the attackers had a gun.
Police say the attackers forced the man to drive to several ATMs and withdraw money. Then, near the corner of Dwyer and Crowder roads, police say one of the attackers opened fire on three people walking along the street.
At that point, the victim pleaded for his life and was released by the attackers who left in the man's car. It was found that day, but the two attackers remain on the loose.
