Lee Harvey Oswald birthday party planned for NOLA

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Organizers of the annual conference in New Orleans on Lee Harvey Oswald and the JFK assassination say this year’s focus is “Oswald: The Patsy.”

The conference will also include a birthday party for Oswald, who was born on October 18, 1939, in New Orleans.  The party will be a few days before that date on the calendar, on Oct. 15, at The Kamp restaurant at 2317 Hickory Avenue in Harahan.

The conference itself will run Oct.14-16 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel-Airport at 2829 Williams Blvd.  It’s produced by publisher TrineDay, Conscious Community Events, and the JFK Historical Group.

In a statement announcing the conference, Kris Millegan of TrineDay says, ““We will be looking at Oswald’s life in New Orleans, explore other topics such as David Ferrie, Dr. Mary Sherman, and the Garrison trial, plus, testimony from military medical personnel, who were present at JFK’s autopsy, showing the impossibility of Oswald’s alleged actions.”
