NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - Want to jump on the growing cocktail craze? The Moscow Mule is a drink made from lime juice, vodka and ginger beer. But that's just the basic drink. There are hundreds of different variations.

To celebrate the drink's 75th birthday more than 400 bartenders from around the world submitted their versions of the Moscow Mule to be compiled in a recipe book. Two bartenders from New Orleans finished in the top 75.

Konrad Kantor's recipe finished in third place. The New Orleans bartender and co-owner of El Libre (508 Dumaine St, New Orleans) stopped by the Twist bar to create a Moscow Mule for us.

Star Hodgson is the other New Orleans bartender whose take on the Moscow Mule is featured in Mulehead, The Recipe Book.
