BATON ROUGE — You won’t be allowed to bring backpacks or large purses into Tiger Stadium this fall. On their website, the university cites security concerns for the change.

Bags allowed into Tiger Stadium must be clear and smaller than 8 1/2 by 11″. Also only one bag per person.

“For overall safety and security, LSU recommends fans to reduce the need to bring bags into Tiger Stadium – leave all unnecessary items at home/vehicle,” says

The bag policy change is very similar to the NFL.

Coolers, bottles, and containers of any kind are also banned. Along with umbrellas noise makers, banners, and flags.
