NOPD looking for suspect in aggravated assault, considered armed and dangerous

NEW ORLEANS(WGNO)-NOPD needs the public’s assistance in locating Djohn Bryant. He is wanted for aggravated assault with a firearm and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

On May 31, 2016, around 12 p.m., the victim was involved in a verbal altercation with his girlfriend and Bryant at Allen and North Rocheblave streets. The victim and his girlfriend then became involved in a physical altercation, and Bryant removed a semi-automatic handgun from his waistband and pointed the weapon at the victim’s head.

Bryant should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see the suspect do not approach him, call 911 instead.
