"Before the Mission, I was an absolute mess.  I spent six months on the street.  Once I got to the Mission my life change and I realized this was where I was supposed to be.  The Mission saw that we had some talents that they could put to good use.  I'm really glad that somebody recognized the talent that God's given us and then we can use our talents for good," Devin Black with Mission Media Productions said.

"An organization that rescues so many women in our community, I definitely couldn't turn it down.  If you're going to be Fleurty girl, that's what we do.  A big part of our mission is to help," she said.

The Big Easy/Big Heart 5K Race is on Saturday, April 30th.
