NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is hosting a blood drive today and Wednesday for injured JPSO deputy Stephen Arnold. He was shot multiple times Tuesday morning while serving a warrant at a home in the Lower 9th Ward.

Arnold is in critical condition at University Hospital.

The Blood Center will have Blood Mobile in front of the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office Investigations Bureau at 725 Maple Street in Harvey today from 2 – 7 p.m. and on Wednesday from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The Blood Center will also have an additional Blood Mobile stationed Wednesday, from 8-3 p.m. at the main Headquarters building, located 1233 West Bank Expressway in Harvey.

The Blood Center location at 2617 Edenborn Avenue in Metairie will also be accepting donations on behalf of Deputy Arnold, Wednesday, from 7 a.m – 7 p.m.

Anyone wanting to donate blood for Deputy Stephen Arnold can do so at any of the aforementioned locations.
