Improving LSU’s passing game.

NEW ORLEANS, LA.(WGNO)

 

In October, LSU quarterback Brandon Harris looked like the answer to the tigers long unfulfilled needs at the position.

Harris threw 2 touchdown passes against South Carolina, 2 more against, Florida, and 3 against Western Kentucky, but in November Harris slumped. he threw 3 touchdown passes, 5 interceptions.

Head coach Les Miles said Harris is busy bee in bowl practices.

<Les Miles: "His necessity to throw better and be more accurate is what he is working on, and it looks pretty good from here.">

After the Texas A&M game, Miles said his offense needed a tweak.

Some would say it needs more.

<Les Miles: "We throw the ball in practice all the time, but we want to have a greater efficient passing game, more completions, more yards, more. I think we have nice start to the game plan. coach Cam us headed in the right direction.">

Despite the apparent loss of top recruit Feliepe franks to the University of Florida, Miles said LSU can still sign a quality true freshman.

<Les Miles: "I don't want to go in depth, but I think there are some quality plays.">

In November, LSU officials flirted with Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher.

They didn't get him, and miles returned.

When it comes to improving the offense and the won-loss record, Les needs a lot more.
