New Orleans (WGNO) - Makeaba Jones-Campbell has a full-time job and a family to maintain. But that doesn't stop her from making some additional money.
Campbell was sitting in a class with her friends that specialized in making jewelry. She wore that jewelry she made to work and was complemented by so many people that they were asking her to make them jewelry.
She took that idea and ran with it and so far has sold over 1,000 necklaces and bracelets.
Each bracelet tells a story. She doesn't make replicas because every life isn't similar. She does however makes request for people who want's there jewelry to represent who they are.
