Kentucky ends game on 11-3 run, survives LSU

For the only unbeaten in men’s Division 1 college basketball, it never seems easy. Top ranked and unbeaten Kentucky rallied to beat LSU 71-69 in Baton Rouge Tuesday night before 13,997.

Kentucky won its third overtime game in SEC play this season.

Kentucky appeared to be cruising to its 24th straight win, but a technical foul on Wildcat Karl-Anthony Townes in the second half ignited a 14-0 LSU run.

Kentucky finished the game on an 11-3 run to seal the victory. Towns’ jumper with 1:33 gave Kentucky a 70-69 lead.
