Monday’s Wheel of Justice Includes Search For Gun Range Burglars

Monday's Wheel of Justice report includes surveillance video that shows two men accused of burglarizing the Shooters Club in Harahan.  According to the ATF, the burglars stole six guns from business on July 27th.  Harahan police are also working the investigation.


Monday's report also included the search for whoever shot and killed two women early Saturday morning at an apartment in the 14,000 block of Chef Menteur Highway.  Police say they responded to a report that the two women were shot, but the Orleans Parish Coroner's Office did not release the causes of death.  The coroner did identify the victims as 25-year-old Gerhonda Elphage and 18-year-old Irielle King.


Also, Monday's Wheel of Justice report showed a man who is accused of stealing a taxi.  According to New Orleans police, the man was a passenger but jumped over the seat and took the wheel after the driver stepped out of the car for a moment.  The heist happened a little after 4:30 Sunday morning in the 8700 block of Chef Menteur Highway.
