Monday’s Wheel of Justice report begins with the search for the car that hit and killed a man on Interstate-10 early that same morning. New Orleans police say an 18-wheeler hit the man’s body but the victim had already been struck by another car. It happened at about 2:00 in the morning. Police want to know who was driving the first car and failed to stop.
Monday’s report also included the search for two men who kidnapped and sexually assaulted a woman early Sunday morning. Police say the pair grabbed a woman as she was walking in the 700 b lock of North Villere. They say the men covered the woman’s face with a towel, assaulted her, then released her in Kenner. According to the NOPD, the attackers were driving a gray Ford Focus hatchback.
Finally, Monday’s report included the search for a man who stabbed and killed another man in the French Quarter last Wednesday night. The attack happened in the 800 block of Toulouse Street. Police say the victim may have been homeless.
