NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Food is on the field, as the Saints get ready for the new season! The dome is making their menu a bit more upscale. Some of the dishes you’ll find there include pig-skin po-boys, fajitas, humus sandwiches, muffaletta salads, and Asian chopped salads with pan seared tuna.
Executive Chef Lenny Martinsen says “We have had a great partnership with Copeland’s last few years, and what we’re done this year is create some new and exciting specials. We have slow-roasted prime rib sandwich with our kettle chips, great sandwich.”
Chef Lenny will also be considering the opposing teams when they come to the dome. For example, when the Baltimore Ravens are here in November, the dome menu will feature Maryland crab cakes!
Hot dog fans will still be able to get their fix though. The Superdome will feature a Jumbo Louisiana Chili Dog, with black-eyed-pea chili and hurricane sauce.
