NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The FBI is trying to find whoever robbed an armored truck at gunpoint this morning.  It happened at about 8:40 in the 200 block of Broadway Street near the corner of Leake Avenue.

According to the FBI, one of the truck’s guards was returning from a business when the robber confronted him with a black revolver.  The gunman forced his way into the truck and ordered the guards to drive a street away to the corner of Chestnut and Audubon streets.

That’s where, according to agents, the gunman left the scene on foot with an unknown amount of money.

Monday’s Wheel of Justice report also included a pair of attacks that targeted females.  In both cases, the victims were shot.

In one of the attacks, a 17-year-old was shot multiple times on Bunker Hill Road near Salem Street.  At last word, she was in stable condition.

The other attack involved two women who were shot while sitting on the front porch of a home on Paris Avenue in Gentilly.
