NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – D. Lammie is an artist who still feels like discrimination within the black community is a real thing. That’s why as an artist she’s using brown paper bags to kick start a conversation about racism within the black community.

The brown paper bag test was a way that people determined which type of black skin got into some churches and social events.
