NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – New Orleans Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects in connection with a fraud that occurred on April 8, 2014, at 8:00 p.m., in the 600 block of Loyola Avenue.

The victim was persuaded to get into a vehicle identified as a silver or gray Nissan Versa hatchback after the female suspect offered her a ride back to her hotel.

The victim later discovered credit cards missing from her wallet. The victim does not have any memory of how her credit cards came to be missing. The credit cards were later used in the French Quarter area by the same two people who assisted the female to her hotel.

The suspects checked into a local hotel where they were viewed wearing the same clothing entering and leaving the hotel the next day, because of this it is believed the suspects live in the metro area or came to New Orleans for a day trip.

Pictures are attached of the male and female suspects, the vehicle used, along with a picture of the male’s tattoo located on his right forearm.

Anyone knowing the identity of these two subjects is urged to contact CRIMESTOPPERS at 504-822-1111
