Good Morning New Orleans Anchor-Reporter Position - WGNO news, the ABC affiliate in New Orleans, is looking for a high energy co-anchor for our Good Morning New Orleans newscast plus report for WGNO News @ 11a.

Anchoring is not just about reading scripts. You must be able to TNG the big and little stories and be able to field anchor on the big stories. You will have excellent news judgment and hold journalism ethics in high regard. I am looking for a strong storyteller who can report and write to video. You know how to generate and promote local stories.

You must have strong multimedia skills, understand the importance of social media and have a multi-platform approach to news coverage. You will be asked to show your social media activity.

You must be able to work in a team atmosphere, take initiative, have good people skills, a positive, can-do attitude, and be well organized. This position requires a four year college degree or equivalent work experience. You must have two years of commercial on-air TV experience.
