NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - As if you needed another excuse to make a dinner reservation at Peche Seafood Grill in the CBD.
The restaurant was named the country’s Best New Restaurant by the James Beard Foundation.
In addition, Peche’s chef and co-owner, Ryan Prewitt was named one of the best chefs in the south. Prewitt tied with New Orleanian Sue Zemanick of Gautreau’s and Ivy for that award.
But that’s not all for New Orleans.
New Orleans chef John Besh received the Who’s Who of Food and Beverage in America Award.
And Hansen’s Sno-Bliz took home the America’s Classics award.
A big congratulation goes out to all the award winners, making sure New Orleans stays on top as the food king of the U.S.
