St. Anna’s Episcopal Church made a traditional Palm Sunday procession through New Orleans historic neighborhoods, Treme, Marigny and French Quarter. They’re turning a boring processional into a New Orleans Second Line. Palm Sunday for Christians begins a week of devotion centering around the final days of Jesus of Nazareth a week long cycle of devotion and worship follows Palm Sunday which commemorates Jesus final entry into Jerusalem.
