“Cold” Crime Included in Wednesday’s Wheel of Justice Report

Wednesday’s Wheel of Justice report included surveillance photos of a suspect in a cold crime investigation.

Westwego police say the man in the photo is responsible for a burglary at a snowball stand.  They say the man broke into Abra Cadabra snowballs at about 4:30 last Saturday morning.  They say he stole the business’ cash register with about $120 in it.

Wednesday’s report also included the search for the driver of a car connected to a car burglary.  New Orleans poilce say the white, Chevy Impala’s driver may know something about the theft.  They’re not calling the driver a suspect.  They say the car could have different front and rear wheels which could make it easier to narrow their search.

Finally, Wednesday’s report also included a brutal attack in the Houma area.  Terrebonne deputies say two men forced their way into an apartment in the 3600 block of Thomas Drive and shot a man. It happened about 3:00 that same morning.  Deputies say a woman and small child were also in the apartment at the time.  The gunmen stole the victims’ money.  At last word the man who was shot was being treated at a hospital.
