This weekend runners laced up their sneakers for a “fun run” at St. Charles Borromeo benefiting “Miracles to Milestones.”
It’s the vision of Hillary Sirmon. She’s the mother of two beatuful girls, and a special 2-year-old boy, named Ben.
Ben is battling a rare genetic disorder. His life expectancy is less than 10 years, which is why his mother is doing all she can to give her son and all kids with special needs a chance to play in the park.
“Miracles to Milestones” will become an all inclusive park in Destrehan.
In all St. Charles Borromeo raised over $11,000 for “Miracles to Milestones” over the weekend.
Hillary tells us the tentative date for contstruction to start is set for early June.
