Cookin’ with Nino: Intenational Tenderloin Nuggets

International Tenderloin Nuggets


  • 2 lb. trimmed filet mignon, cut to nugget size about 1 square inch
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • ½ tbsp granulated garlic
  • ¼ tsp kosher salt, or to taste
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper, or to taste
  • ¼ tsp cracked black pepper, or to taste
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp light brown sugar


Combine all ingredients in a small mixing bowl, and mix thoroughly. Place filet nuggets into marinade, mix well.  Let sit for an hour, turning nuggets over occasionally.  Sear in a skillet on high heat until desired tenderness achieved.
