International Tenderloin Nuggets
- 2 lb. trimmed filet mignon, cut to nugget size about 1 square inch
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- ½ tbsp granulated garlic
- ¼ tsp kosher salt, or to taste
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper, or to taste
- ¼ tsp cracked black pepper, or to taste
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ½ cup olive oil
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp light brown sugar
Combine all ingredients in a small mixing bowl, and mix thoroughly. Place filet nuggets into marinade, mix well. Let sit for an hour, turning nuggets over occasionally. Sear in a skillet on high heat until desired tenderness achieved.
