Rapper Lil’ Boosie Released from Prison, to Speak at NOLA Presser Next Week

(WGNO) – Rapper Lil’ Boosie was officially released from the Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola Wednesday night. Torrence Hatch, which is Boosie’s legal name, had been serving time since 2009 after pleading guilty to drug charges.

The Baton Rouge native will speak at an event in New Orleans on Monday March 10, according to an invitation that was sent Wednesday. WGNO will have exclusive access inside the event to be held at the W Hotel at 1 p.m.
