NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – It appears Loyola University in New Orleans was a victim of Mardi Gras.
The university has confirmed that two letter of the concrete sign at the front of the university were chiseled away sometime between Saturday and Sunday. Vandals then came back for two more letters Monday night. In total taking the letters L-O-Y-O, but leaving behind the letters L and A.
Some media outlets have speculated that the pranksters wanted to create their own sign, one that spells YOLO. It’s the motto rapper Drake came up with in 2011. It means ‘you only live once.’
This WGNO viewer tried to fix it:

Vandals should pay damages, and serve “live fix” (as posted by Deandra) hours as part of community service!!
