Police Arrest Second Suspect In Beating Case Of Musician

We have progress to report tonight…There’s breaking news in the case of a New Orleans musician Beaten in the French Quarter in mid-January.

Police have arrested a second suspect in the case.

Around 9 o’clock Thursday, Eighth District detectives received a Crimestoppers tip which led them to a hotel in the 300 block of O`Keefe Street.

That’s where detectives made contact with Terrell Belvin who surrendered peacefully.

Suspect Reeshawn Arnold was already in jail on an unrelated charge.

Family members say potter is making a slow recovery and is currently in a semiconscious state.

Both Belvin and Arnold have been booked with second degree battery.

    Props to the NOPD for a wonderful job! The residents of New orleans expect both of these men charged with HATE CRIMES, & put away in ANGOLA for a VERRRRY looooong time! This complacency on crime has to stop, or it will continue to rise!
