NOLA Noise Ordinance To Be Withdrawn

There will be no hearing Friday regarding a proposed noise ordinance for the city of New Orleans.

The plan aimed  to regulate how loud music could be played in the city.  But it was drawing a lot of criticism.

Thursday, some council members announced the proposed ordinance would be withdrawn and work would begin on a new plan.
