Monday’s Wheel of Justice report begins with a double homicide investigation on the north shore.  According to St Tammany Sheriff Jack Strain, a man and his two-year-old daughter were found shot to death inside their home on Carnation Street in the Abita Nursery subdivision.  The mother of the girl, who does not live in the home, made the discovery around 10:00 Monday morning Strain said.  Both victims had been shot at a close distance Strain said.  He also said, referring to the man who was killed, that deputies had been to the house before for domestic violence and mental health issues.

Monday’s report also included the search for several burglars who targeted a business at about 5:00 that same morning in the 4100 block of Jumonville Street.  New Orleans police say they responded to a burglar alarm and found the business’s doors open and its locks cut.

Finally, Monday’s Wheel of Justice report profiled a Christmas day burglary case on Dunson Road in Ponchatoula.  Tangipahoa deputies say 27-year-old Ervin Dudley Gordon, III, is responsible for the theft.  The also say he may have a firearm that was stolen from one of his relatives.
