Robert Robinson, 29, 2-24-84 and Andrew Causey, 24, 1-29-88 are in custody after pointing a firearm at New Orleans Police Officers.  The offense occurred at approximately 4:45pm at the intersection of North Prieur and Spain Streets.

Fifth District Narcotics Task Force Officers were on patrol when they attempted to make a traffic stop on the driver of a blue Nissan Altima.  When the driver stopped the vehicle, Robinson and Causey exited the vehicle and began fleeing on foot and the driver of the vehicle fled the scene with the vehicle.  As Robinson and Causey were fleeing, Causey pointed a firearm at the officers at which time the officers fired.  No one was injured or struck by the gunfire.
