January 2 in our city is a big night: Alabama plays Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl. But that’s not the only reason. Sometime around 5 p.m., St. Augustine running back Leonard Fournette will announce his college choice on national television at halftime during the Under Armour game.
Talk about must see TV.
Fournette is that good. A player of his abilities could tilt the scales in the SEC West: if Alabama lands him, it is a huge get; if LSU gets him, he is a player that can lead the Tigers back into the national title picture.
For that reason, for both schools, the decision is big. Land him, or for the next three years, play against him.
