Get ready to shut down the interstate: President Obama will be in New Orleans Friday

President Obama is paying a visit to the Crescent City Friday.  The president is expected to give a speech about growing the local economy through exports from the Port of New Orleans around midday.

Expect some traffic delays along I-10 and through the city to the Nashville Avenue Wharf after the president arrives and before he leaves. Air Force One is scheduled to land at Armstrong International Airport at 10:45 a.m. and leave at 1:10 p.m. The president is expected to speak at 12:10 p.m.
