Monday’s Wheel of Justice Features a Pair of Robberies

Monday’s Wheel of Justice report included the search for one, of two, accused robbers in Pontchatoula.  Tangipahoa Parish deputies say the pair targeted Alicia’s Food Mart on Highway 22 on September 27.  Deputies say they identified the men as Duane Bissell and Nelson Pierre.  They say they arrested Bissell on unrelated charges and he confessed.  Pierre remains on the loose.

Monday’s report also included the search for three people who robbed the Purple Cow Shell station in Slidell last Thursday night.  According to police, two of the robbers used a gun to steal an undisclosed amount of money from the store while the third stood watch outside.
