Covington cancer survivor invents “Chemo Beanies” for cancer patients

Angelle Albright from Covington has created something that’s a national finalist in a Wal-Mart competition. WGNO’s Kenny Lopez explains how her product makes life better for women with cancer.

By the end of October, America will have voted for five webisode winners on the Wal-Mart website (including Angelle’s Chemo Beanies), and all five will be made available for online pre-order at  Whichever winning product has the most pre-orders will be crowned the Wal-Mart grand prize champion, and will receive additional marketing support plus an introduction to the Wal-Mart Stores merchandising team, opening up the opportunity to sell the product in select Wal-Mart stores.
