The FBI is investigating two bank robberies.  Both heists happened on Thursday.

The first happened a little after 9:00 in the morning at the Capital One Bank on General De Gaulle in Algiers.

The FBI says the robber used a gun to demand money from a teller inside the bank.  No word on how much money he carried away from the scene.

The second robbery happened at the Chase Bank on St Charles Avenue near the corner of Jackson Avenue.

In this case, the robber used a silver handgun to demand money from a teller.  Just like in the morning heist, the FBI did not say how much money was taken.

Also, the FBI is not connecting the cases.
