Timecode NOLA wants your old home movies

Timecode NOLA, the independent film program in New Orleans, is holding a film festival that’s going on through Sunday, September 22.

But it’s now just any film festival: they want you to bring in any Super-8 film you’re family has recorded in the past.

When you put one of these films on a projector and look at it, it’s like discovering lost treasure,” says Co-Festival Director Randall Perez.  “You see the way the city was.”

Timecode NOLA says they’re creating an internet archive of people’s films. They’ll also format it on a DVD for you.
