Black Minivan Used In Two CBD Robberies

New Orleans police say a pair of robbers struck twice Thursday night in the CBD.

One of the victims was a woman walking near the intersection of Carondelet and Union streets.  According to police, one of the robbers grabbed the woman’s purse at gunpoint and the other drove the getaway car.

Five minutes later, the pair is believed to have targeted a man in the 300 block of Magazine Street.

Surveillance video in the area of one of the robberies shows the thieves leaving the scene in a black minivan.
