LSU coach Les Miles is speaking out about Sports Illustrated’s allegations of a pay-for-play program at Oklahoma State University during his time there.
The report alleges former coaches and boosters rewarded players with money for a good performance on the field.
Miles denies the sports magazine’s claims saying, “I don’t know of any improprieties while I was coach there. I can tell you this: we have always done things right. I really enjoyed my time at Oklahoma State.”
Miles says every player was encouraged to get his degree, to stay the course, and to fight.
