Red Beans and Rice – The Dish That Saved New Orleans

Served mainly on Mondays, it’s the classic red beans and rice. Now,  food anthropologist Professor David Beriss from the University of New Orleans says it’s not only a delicious dish, red beans and rice actually helps re-build the city.
