The man accused of killing and dismembering his disabled, seven-year old son in Thibodaux is now competent to stand trial.
That’s according to the mental facility that treated Jeremiah Wright.
However, Wright’s attorney says a judge must make the final determination.
He adds, Wright was determined to be competent by the hospital about a year ago, but a judge disagreed.
A hearing date for the latest finding could be set for later this month.
