Bank Robber and Car Burglar Cases Make Wednesday’s Wheel of Justice
A bank robber and an accused car burglar rolled Wednesday night on the Wheel of Justice.
The bank robber struck earlier in the day at the Crescent Bank and Trust on Poydras Street downtown. The FBI says the man did not pull a gun but did hand a note to the teller. He was last seen walking toward Rampart Street. The FBI says the man is white and in his mid-50s with a slender-average build. He was wearing a long-sleeved gray shirt, blue jeans, white tennis shoes, reading glasses, and a dark hat with a fleur de lis on it.
Also on Wednesday’s report, New Orleans police are looking for a man named Joe Gray. They say he may have information about a murder that happened in the city on July 5th in the 1700 block of Elizardi Street. Police are stressing that Gray is not a suspect but may know something about the attack.
Finally, Wednesday’s Wheel of Justice report included the search for a teenager who is believed to be responsible for a series of car burglaries on the west bank. According to Jefferson Parish deputies, the teen targeted the Spanish Oaks subdivision late Monday night or early Tuesday morning. They say he was wearing a shirt with Marilyn Monroe on it.
