Monday’s Wheel of Justice report kicked off with the search for a trailer thief in Houma and ended with a New Orleans hotel robbery.

The trailer theft was reported on August 9 at a business on Dickson Road.  Terrebonne Parish deputies say someone stole a 2008 Texas Bragg utility trailer that was carrying a Bobcat riding mower.  They released a security camera photo that showed a light-colored Toyota pickup truck towing the trailer.  They believe whoever was driving the truck is responsible for the theft.  Anyone who can help deputies catch the thief is asked to call Bayou Region Crimestoppers at 1-800-743-7433.

Monday’s report also included the search for a motel robber who struck that morning.  According to police, the man entered the Empress Hotel at 1317 Ursulines Street and implied he had a weapon.  They say the man got away with some money but didn’t say how much.  They released security camera footage of the crime.  Anyone who can help the NOPD solve this case is asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111.
