Man Will Serve Jail Time For Selling Fake Super Bowl And BCS Tickets in New Orleans

Last February’s Super Bowl was a tough ticket to get.

Now, a Maryland man will serve six months in prison for selling fake tickets — in New Orleans and Mississippi — to the big game.

According to federal prosecutors, 47-year-old Richard McNeil also sold fake BCS tickets in New Orleans in 2012.

He’ll also have to pay $5,650 to the victims who bought the bogus tickets.
