“Normally you wouldn’t think of the swamp and sportmans paradise as being hot, but just by wearing a bikini it makes it hot. Throw in some mud and swamp and alligators and it’s going to be awesome, ” says veteran Saintsation Heidi.
That’s exactly what the 2013/2014 Saintsations calendar is; eleven pages featuring the ladies in bikinis, shot in the swamps of Lafitte, St. Tammany and New Orleans.
The team of 35 women started fine tuning their skills in April and are ready to get tgis season started.
Saintsations rookie Mary says, “I’m extremely excited. It probably won’t hit me until game day. “
Four year Saintsations veteran Heidi says, “I can’t wait, even for a preseason game which normally isn’t as full as regular season. I’m sure that all the stands are going to be full and it’s going to be full and it’s going to be as loud as it always is even just for preseason. “
“And then on top of it our season opener is against the Falcons, so like what better way then to come out with a bang, ” says second year Saintsations veteran Lindsey.
“We’re headed all the way this year. Sean Payton is back. We got our good rookies coming up this year so we’re ready to cheer them on until the end: Super Bowl,” says four year Saintsations veteran Jerami.
Just today Coach Payton announced two key players Kenyon Coleman and Joseph Morgan are out for the season.
Former Saint Michael Lewis says it may slow the team down at first, but they have to work through this.
“It’s football. Things happen. You can’t let that bother you and bother the team. Younger guys got to step up and make plays and that’s what it’s all about,” says former Saint Lewis.
The crowd seems more than hopeful, they are pumped and like the Saintsations they’re ready to get the show on the road.
