In the armed robbery case, New Orleans police released the photo of a suspect named Shameka Patin.  According to the NOPD’s case summary, Patin, two other women, and a man robbed the Westside Cleaners on Opelousas Street in Algiers.  Also according to the report, the victim in the case claimed he had a sexual relationship with Patin.  The man was severely beaten about his face.  According to police, the robbers took the money and a gun from the cleaners.

Also on Monday’s report, Tangipahoa Parish deputies are reopening a cold murder case.  They say they have several persons of interest now in the shooting death of Timothy Brown who was gunned down outside of a lounge in December 2006.  Deputies say they are hoping people will come forward with tips to help bolster their case.
