Want a raise at work? Better hope your boss has a daughter!

A University of Maryland and Columbia Business School study (see it here) looked at how fatherhood affects management style, specifically how a male CEO’s children affects how he pays his employees.

The study found that men who have girls are more generous in the workplace and pay more.

Apparently the presence of a daughter, no matter what their age, brings out a man’s caring side.
