(from the New Orleans Police Department) – New Orleans Police are asking for your help in locating Theron Boyd, who is considered a “Person of Interest” who may have information about a Simple Battery that took place July 7, 2013 in the 1400 block of Bourbon Street in the 1400 block of Bourbon Street at approximately 11:30 P.M.
Two victims were walking in the 1400 block of Bourbon Street when one victim was struck from behind. The victim began fighting with the suspect that struck him at which time the perpetrator fled. The victim then noticed a second subject kicking his partner in the head and yelling disparaging homosexual remarks at which time he went to the aid of his partner and the second perpetrator fled the scene.
One victim sustained minor lacerations and abrasions to his arms and legs. The second victim sustained a fractured nose and facial fractures.
Perpetrator #1 was described as a Black Male in his 20’s, approximately 5’08” tall with a medium build, short hair and a dark complexion. He was clad in a black t-shirt with green writing on it.
Perpetrator #2 was described as a black male, approximately 5’10” to 6’00” tall with a thin build, a dark complexion and wearing a black t-shirt with “ESSENCE” written in white on the front.
Theron Boyd, is not a suspect in the incident just a person who Detectives would like to speak to that may have information about the incident.
